About the role
Amazon Leo (previously known as Project Kuiper) is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of over 3,000 Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for building and supporting GRC tooling for the Amazon Leo Security Assurance team.
You'll design and implement autonomous AI agents orchestrating compliance workflows. You will scale and automate compliance tasks by integrating with various data sources, extracting datasets/APIs and leveraging AI capabilities using AWS infrastructure.
Responsibilities
You will develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring health of systems and data pipelines. You will work with multiple cross functional teams to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate the infrastructure you build.
You will develop and mentor junior and new team members. You will engineer and build a cloud service that is reliable and available to provide connectivity for our customers.
You will work on features that enhance the quality of service and security for our customers. You will collaborate and work on initiatives across multiple teams to build networking functions on AWS cloud infrastructure and set best practices for software development processes.
A day in the life
Your day begins with a stand-up meeting where your team provides updates on current GRC tool development and automation projects. You'll spend time reviewing architecture proposals for new features or design a new AI agent to handle compliance requirement such as evidence collection and then meet with team members to understand their specific workflows and needs.
In the afternoon, you might analyze compliance datasets to identify improvement opportunities, collaborate with partner teams on integration points, and provide engineering to team members on complex security challenges.
