Software Engineer 2 (IDN - 185)

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE), in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• OR Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required Skills

• Experience using the Linux CLI.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processes.
• Basic Linux systems administration including User and Group Management.
• Experience implementing Access Controls and permissions including RBAC and HBAC in a Linux environment.
• Experience developing software solutions using the Python programming language.
• Familiar with IAM solutions such as KeyCloak, FreeIPA, SSSD, LDAP, Kerberos.
• Experience developing Ansible playbooks to orchestrate the automation of provisioning HPC hardware and software components.
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Experience with Git Source Control System.

Desired Skills

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd.
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.
