Software Engineer 2

About the role

Design software according to project requirements in compliance with company design and quality standards. Test and support software built. Manage design and control aspects of projects while working within a cross-functional team environment. Provide software support for new and existing equipment by providing on-site, meeting, phone, and email support. Assist with equipment start up and validation. Work with customers directly to coordinate deployment, validation and resolve specification clarity.

Responsibilities

• Absorb and resolve customer issues related to equipment start up and validation.
• Work with customers directly to coordinate deployment, validation and resolve specification clarity.

Requirements

• BSCS, BSEE or BSCE Degree
• C++ or C# Language proficiency
• Object Oriented proficiency
• 3 Years of related work experience
• Ability to work directly with customers
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (10-30%)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Effective communication with internal and external customers using tact and diplomacy
