Job Summary
PayPal, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 2 in Scottsdale, AZ.
Job Duties
- Deliver new software features, enhancements, and bug fixes for Java REST services, JMS daemons, and batch jobs.
- Design, develop, test, and release software using Java in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Participate in software code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge and collaborate with other teams across Credit to ensure transparency and effective delivery.
- Write with large-scale, highly available, and distributed software systems and experience developing automated unit, integration, and functional test suites.
- Work closely with PayPal’s Product team in an agile environment to bring software features from conception to launch.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

- The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring.
- The expected range of pay for this role by location is: Primary Location : Pay Range: Scottsdale, AZ : $111,072.00-171,500.00 per annum.
- 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
