About the role

The Proactive Security (ProSec) team is building the next generation of mission-critical security systems to protect Amazon assets. These include standalone tools for security reviews (e.g., intake and data classification), paved paths (e.g., libraries for embedded systems), and integrating plugins in tools used by product teams. We experiment and build innovative tools to identify and address key customer pain points. Our customers are Amazon development teams, internal security teams, and Amazon’s customers.

We are looking for an experienced dynamic manager who has a passion to make internal business teams successful. The ideal candidate has deep technical experience, preferably in AWS technologies, strong verbal and written communication, and excels at balancing priorities between near-term and long-term focus. Prior experience building preventive solutions (e.g., paved paths), driving their adoption, and extending builder tools to vend security guidance is strongly desired.
