Learn more about our benefits at https://amazon.jobs/en/benefits. USA, WA, Bellevue - 184,900.00 - 250,200.00 USD annually USA, WA, Seattle - 184,900.00 - 250,200.00 USD annually Company - Amazon.com Services LLC Job ID: A10553535" We need to remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. Also remove "Amazon is an equal opportunity employer..." etc. Also remove "If you have a disability..." etc. Also remove "Learn more about our benefits at ..."? That's maybe part of benefits but we can keep benefits content but not the link? The instruction: remove application instructions. The link to benefits maybe considered application instruction? It's more informational. Might keep benefits content but not the link? Safer to keep benefits description but drop the link? The instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." The benefits link is not application instruction; it's informational. Could keep but it's a URL; maybe we can keep as plain text? It's not prohibited. However we need to avoid repeating duplicated lines. We need sections: About the role? The description includes introductory paragraph about role and team. Could be "About the role" or "About The Team". We have "About The Team" heading in text. Also "Key job responsibilities". Also "Basic Qualifications" and "Preferred Qualifications". Also "Why AWS?" includes inclusive team culture, mentorship, work/life balance. Could be "Benefits"? Actually benefits are described later: health insurance etc. Also pay range is given: salary ranges. So we can have sections: About the role (maybe combine intro), Responsibilities, Qualifications (basic and preferred), Benefits, Pay. Schedule not present, so omit. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to include all details from description, except boilerplate. Let's extract substantive content: Intro paragraph: "Are you passionate about delivering quality services and ready to apply your experience at massive scale? Amazon S3 is the storage for internet, and Amazon S3 Tables deliver the first cloud object store with built-in Apache Iceberg support and streamline storing tabular data at scale. We are on the lookout for the curious, those who think big and want to define the world of tomorrow. Utility Computing (UC) AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services" Note there is duplicated phrase "for customers who require specialized security solutions for customers who require specialized security solutions". Might be a mistake but we keep as is? Probably we should keep but maybe it's a duplication; we could deduplicate? The instruction: remove duplicated lines. This is a duplicated phrase within a sentence, not a line. Might keep as is. Then "Key job responsibilities" list: - Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market. - Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry. - Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility. - Define engineering roadmap and drive architectural simplification to ensure systems are built for Durability, Availability and Maintainability - Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software. - Create and nurture a team culture that allows individuals to perform at their best, while solving complex problems and delivering solutions that delight our customers. Then "About The Team" paragraph: "AWS values diverse experiences. Even if you do not meet all of the preferred qualifications and skills listed in the job description, we encourage candidates to apply. If your career is just starting, hasn’t followed a traditional path, or includes alternative experiences, don’t let it stop you from applying." Then "Why AWS?" sections: Actually after that we have "Why AWS?" then paragraphs about AWS being comprehensive, inclusive team culture, mentorship & career growth, work/life balance. Those are more about company culture, could be part of "About the team" or separate. But we can treat them as part of "About the team" or maybe "Why AWS?" but we only have allowed headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we need to fit content into those. "Why AWS?" could be part of "About the role" or maybe "Benefits"? Not exactly. Could be part of "About the role" as description of team and culture. We'll include under "About the role" maybe. Then "Basic Qualifications" list: - 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience - 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations - Experience partnering with product or program management teams Then "Preferred Qualifications
