We are re-inventing the live sports experience by merging high-quality live streaming, immersive interactive features, and exclusive access to some of the world's most loved sports properties. The Prime Video Sports team is uniquely positioned to execute our vision across the entire Prime Video stack to deliver the most compelling new experiences to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and vision to the experiences and services teams.
• Ensure that the best engineering practices are followed and that our software is designed to be responsive, reliable, and maintainable.
• Work closely with other teams in Prime Video and Amazon to architect solutions that will scale to hundreds of millions of customers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Skills

• Experience building large-scale, high-performance, customer-friendly products
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems to handle large datasets, complex domains, and problems at Amazon scale
• Experience with Rust programming language

Pay

Base salary range for this position is $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 USD annually
