Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop manufacturing software to drive the assembly, calibration, testing, and provisioning of satellites.
  • Collaborate with teams from manufacturing engineering, product engineering, and security engineering to identify requirements and design manufacturing software.
  • Design and develop the end-to-end system capabilities required for manufacturing orchestration across factory production lines.
  • Engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to develop, qualify, produce, and deploy solutions and products enabling Leo's global network.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Full-stack development experience, including telemetry collection, infrastructure as code, authorization, authentication and identity management

Skills

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

These products enable industrial automation for the manufacturing of the Leo satellite fleet and its supporting ground equipment. You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to develop, qualify, produce, and deploy solutions and products enabling Leo's global network.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 USD annually
