As an iOS Engineer, you will define, design, and refine the technology that keeps Audible one step ahead of listeners. You’ll anticipate needs, innovate, and bring challenging ideas to life with the latest tech, tools, and systems. Your role is essential in supporting the team—reviewing work, mentoring, and helping them reach their potential. Together, you’ll build and maintain our platform to deliver thousands of stories to millions of listeners, unleashing the power of the human voice.

Our team curates the entire Audible library into the palm of your hand, delivering a seamless experience for millions worldwide. We enable a frictionless listening experience across iPhone, CarPlay, Apple Watch, and living room devices, working tirelessly to scale world-class products for daily listener sessions. We’re a nimble, passionate team with a game-changing mindset and relentless user focus.

Responsibilities

• Own and be responsible for key components within the team
• Develop, implement, and support key components using the latest technology to influence teams beyond Audible
• Collaborate with Product Management to explore and integrate cutting-edge platform technology, enhancing the listening experience
• Stay current with industry-wide trends and technologies, sharing knowledge with the internal community
• Commit to teamwork, hustle, and strong communication with both business and technical peers
• Thrive in delivering high-quality mobile products in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Experience building mobile UI with SwiftUI or UIKit

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience designing and developing iOS applications using Swift or Objective-C

Pay

USA, NJ, Newark - $121,600.00 - $180,600.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
