Software Development Engineer II, WW Prime Tech
About the role
Join the Amazon Prime Team and work on one of Amazon's most well-recognized and impactful brand programs. This role involves writing code that impacts millions of people daily, building highly scalable and fault-tolerant customer-facing applications, and delivering personalized experiences to Prime members in real-time at massive scale.
As a member of the Prime team, you will collaborate closely with the business team to design and implement new features, using core languages and technologies such as Java, Python, and the latest AWS capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features for Amazon Prime systems.
- Work closely with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Build highly scalable and fault-tolerant customer-facing applications.
- Contribute to both the technical and business success of the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 USD annually (Seattle, WA). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
