Key job responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate a multi-agent conversational AI system powered by Amazon Bedrock that serves 500,000+ attendees across 45+ AWS events annually.
- Own end-to-end feature delivery across the full stack — React Native mobile frontend, serverless backend services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB), and LLM orchestration layer — with direct accountability for performance, reliability, and quality at scale.
- Architect real-time streaming protocols for sub-second response delivery.
- Build data-driven feedback systems that measure and improve AI response accuracy across specialized agent domains.
- Develop intelligent push notification infrastructure with context-aware delivery.
- Define and instrument operational metrics to drive continuous model and system improvements.
- Contribute to system design reviews for high-traffic scenarios (re:Invent scale: 50K+ concurrent users).
- Partner with product, design, and applied science teams to evaluate new LLM capabilities and agent orchestration patterns.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, raise the engineering bar through code reviews and documentation, and own operational excellence — writing runbooks, designing for graceful degradation, and maintaining high availability during peak event periods.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing
- Experience with building multi-agency orchestration workflows with AI
Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
