Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality GIS applications using Python, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test GIS solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our GIS development processes and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, GIS, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in GIS development.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, and GIS libraries such as GeoPandas, GeoJSON, and Leaflet.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with GIS data modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
• Experience with GIS server technologies like ArcGIS Server or GeoServer.
• Understanding of web mapping technologies and APIs.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with GIS libraries and frameworks.
• Good understanding of GIS concepts and methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Pay

Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The position is full-time and based in our headquarters in Redlands, California. Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and training sessions.
