Software Development Engineer, DcsHostMonitoring

About the role

The DcsHostMonitoring team within DC BRIDGE builds systems that process data and alarm on anomalies for internal customers, data center operations engineers. This role requires a combination of software development skills and a deep understanding of data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop systems to process and alarm on anomalies in data center telemetry signals
• Collaborate with data center operations engineers to understand and improve system performance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high standards for safety and security
• Implement and maintain large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience, 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience, 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl, Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
