AWS Quick is growing, and we need Software Development Engineers who move fast, are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems, and have a strong will to get things done. This is an opportunity to work with an experienced team of engineers and scientists to build the innovative enterprise Agentic AI platform - Amazon Quick. You will get the chance to work with the newest machine learning technologies, including LLMs and Agents, on a product with a high degree of visibility within AWS.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy distributed machine learning systems and large-scale solutions for our world-wide customer base
• Collaborate closely with your team to influence our overall strategy and define the team's road map
• Drive the system architecture, spearhead best practices that enable a quality product, and help coach and develop junior engineers

Basic qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 2+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or 3+ years of building production software experience

Preferred qualifications

• Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Pay

• Base salary range: $165,200.00 - $223,600.00 USD annually (USA, CA, Santa Clara)
• Additional compensation includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs)
• Final compensation determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location
