Software Development Engineer, Amazon , Private Brands - Discovery

Responsibilities

• Help customers discover our Private Brands products by building new systems
• Deliver high-impact customer facing features
• Work closely with business partners, software development engineers, and product teams to design, implement, test, launch, document, and maintain highly scalable distributed services and GenAI solutions
• Learn new technologies and develop well-rounded skills in technology, leadership, and project management

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices
• Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences

Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with AWS and GenAI technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

• USA, WA, Seattle - 143,700.00 - 194,400.00 USD annually
