The Alexa Excellence Team in Sunnyvale is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to contribute to the innovation of voice-forward experiences. The team focuses on improving the stability and performance of Alexa customer interactions, serving as a center of excellence for leadership, tools, and support.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cutting-edge voice recognition and language understanding technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality Alexa features
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Alexa’s performance and reliability
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other developers within the Alexa organization

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Base salary range: $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 USD annually
