Key Technical Challenges
- Builder Productivity: Improve organization wide development velocity by building AI powered tools and mechanisms at the enterprise scale.
- Service Availability: Own Ads wide Availability framework and critical service infrastructure that forms the backbone of Ad serving, ensuring high availability across multiple regions and Availability Zones.
Key job responsibilities
- Define the technology strategy
- Deliver independently, with limited guidance
- Solve complex software problems with extensible and scalable solutions
- Remove bottlenecks and make trade-offs between short-term and long-term technical decisions
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software
- Lead large projects
- Divide tasks among team members to work in parallel and reassemble into a cohesive launch
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Experience with AWS technologies
