About the role
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to support the Tomahawk program in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, testing, and documenting source code for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System
- Debugging issues
- Supporting all phases of the software development lifecycle
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Java
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work on-site at Dahlgren Naval Base
- Secret Clearance required
- US citizenship required
Preferred Skills
- Linux Environment Experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or technical discipline, with a preference for Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
