Software Developer - Weapons Systems

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to support the Tomahawk program in an Agile environment. Responsibilities include: designing, implementing, testing, and documenting source code for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System, debugging issues, and supporting all phases of the software development lifecycle. Qualifications: minimum 5 years of professional experience, proficiency in C++ and/or Java, strong knowledge of object-oriented design, excellent communication skills, and willingness to work on-site at Dahlgren Naval Base. A Secret Clearance and US citizenship are required. Preferred Skills Include Linux Environment Experience. Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or technical discipline, with a preference for Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
