Software Developer - Testing Tools/Automation/Performance

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Software Developer specializing in Testing Tools, Automation, and Performance. This role is based in the New York area, with a hybrid work setup. The position is a contract opportunity focusing on developing and executing automation solutions for web, mobile, API, and backend systems, ensuring high-quality releases in an Agile environment. The role requires strong technical expertise, ownership, and collaboration with client and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and execute API test cases using relevant tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in Quality Engineering and Automation Testing.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with web automation tools.
• Minimum 2 years of mobile automation experience.
• Strong skills in API and SQL testing.
• Experience in building or enhancing automation frameworks.
