About the Role
The Specialty Access & Affordability value stream is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the FastAuth team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and scaling applications that expedite the prior authorization process for specialty prescriptions. Your work will directly contribute to reducing the time between a prescription being written and a patient starting therapy, thereby improving patient outcomes and healthcare efficiency. You will collaborate with a team of skilled engineers dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions through continuous integration and deployment. The team works across React front ends, .NET services, and event-driven architectures hosted on Azure cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on position where ownership, technical excellence, and innovation are highly valued. You will have the opportunity to influence product direction, mentor junior developers, and participate actively in agile development cycles. Ideal candidates are proactive, collaborative, and eager to solve complex problems with elegant technical solutions. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Typically 8+ years of relevant professional experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, and/or .NET
- Experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure
- Working knowledge of event-driven architecture, ideally including Kafka
- Effective use of AI tools in development workflows
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
- Proven track record of delivering software applications to production
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience working in Agile environments and participating in technical planning and reviews
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, and .NET technologies
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to design Azure cloud solutions that meet business needs
- Lead and mentor team members through technical challenges and code reviews
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of event-driven architectures, including Kafka integrations
- Transform complex business requirements into simple, elegant technical solutions
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Support applications in production through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables
