Software Developer SME
About the role
The Software Developer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers, and data engineers to build a new application that utilizes Large Language Model (LLM) API calls to convert data and access policies from various sources and formats into a uniform format for compliance assessment. The Developer will work closely with product owners, business analysts, and other teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop Java and/or Python applications that leverage Large Language Model (LLM) API calls
- Utilize Scrum agile techniques to manage workload and incrementally build out applications to meet customer requirements
- Leverage Amazon Web Services
- Create RESTful API
- Write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
- Define system architectures and design of new features
- Use Git, Jenkins, or Rundeck
- Participate in team rotation of O&M responsibilities including being on-call for after-hours support
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Master's degree
- 15+ years of experience
- Experience in lieu of degree
Qualifications
- Experience with foundation AI models such as GPT
- Familiarity with AI topics and concepts such as prompt engineering
- Experience with AI libraries such as LangChain or others
- Experience with DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and other relational or NoSQL database platforms
- Understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) Concepts
- Experience with design patterns and best practices
- Experience building microservices
- Experience with integration testing frameworks
- Documented open source contributions, technical certifications, continued education
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to foundation AI models such as GPT
- Familiarity with AI topics and concepts such as prompt engineering
- Experience with AI libraries such as LangChain or others

Benefits
Pay Range: $154,050.00 - $278,475.00
