Software Developer (.NET)

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and various messaging technologies
• Assist in designing software architectures that align with business and technical requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in software design and development
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring quality and adherence to architectural guidelines
• Research and apply new technologies to improve system performance and scalability
• Support database design and optimization efforts, particularly with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and CosmosDB
• Contribute to documentation, ensuring clarity in system architecture and implementation details

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1-3 years of experience in .NET development with a solid understanding of C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud computing (Azure preferred)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps) and CI/CD pipelines
• Basic knowledge of security best practices in software development
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Blazor)
• Familiarity with message queues (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, MSTest)
