What you will do: Develop, extend, and support technical aspects of our Beacon ETRM system, including market data tools, real-time risk monitoring, and confirms processingHelp maintain and enhance interfaces with third-party systems, including exchange feeds, risk and credit systems, and regulatory reporting toolsSupport front, middle, and back office technology needs such as invoicing, inventory management, and end-of-day batch processesContribute to deal life-cycling, reconciliation processes, and system data integrity checksWrite and maintain unit tests to ensure reliable, high-quality softwareCollaborate closely with Trading, Quant, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions What you bring & who you are: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related fieldExperience with Python – any other modern object-oriented programming language is also welcomeStrong communicator who enjoys connecting with people across different functions, such as Trading, Quant, and TechAnalytical and solution-focused, with a knack for fast, creative problem-solvingIdeally, some exposure to the commodities or energy trading industry, or knowledge of US energy marketsEven if you don't check every box, we look forward to your application About the team: You'll join the IT & ETRM System Development team within Axpo US, working alongside Traders, Quants, and Tech colleagues who value open collaboration.
