About the role
Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company is seeking a Software Developer, Intermediate.
Responsibilities
- Perform program maintenance for moderate complexity projects.
- Occasionally perform analysis and develop specifications on less complex projects.
- Test applications and features to ensure work is free from defects before sending to end users for final approval.
- Aid in providing technical support to various application systems; troubleshoot, analyze issues, and correct problems.
- Report to management on project status as requested.
- Develop relationships with end users and other IT personnel.
- Prepare and/or update documentation according to department standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with moderate complexity programming tasks.
- Ability to analyze and develop specifications on less complex projects.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and application system troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software development tools and technologies.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
