About the role

The Worker will be expected to lead the transition of the TXMAP codebase, which is currently built on the .NET Xamarin platform, to .NET MAUI, enabling the Department’s TXMAP iOS and Android mobile apps to continue functioning.

Responsibilities

• Migrate the TXMAP mobile application from the discontinued Microsoft Xamarin platform to the new Microsoft .NET Multi-platform App UI (MAUI) framework.
• Experience with the .Net platform
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Experience with mobile development for Android and Apple mobile devices
• Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite, mainly JIRA
• Experience migrating mobile applications from Microsoft Xamarin to .NET Multi-platform App UI (MAUI)

Qualifications

• Years Required/Preferred Experience: 8 years required
• Experience with the .Net platform: 8 years required
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio: 1 year required
• Experience with mobile development for Android and Apple mobile devices: 5 years preferred
• Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite, mainly JIRA: 2 years preferred
• Experience with State of Texas applications: 2 years preferred
