Software Developer III

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and debug new software solutions and enhancements to existing applications.
- Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.
- Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Implement desktop design, testing, security lockdown, and integration with standard software packages.
- Integrate with automated patching and deployment technologies.
- Assist in development of software user manuals.
- Document applications, services, and environments for future maintenance.
- Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.
- Support the multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Must have an active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree with 8 years of experience OR Associate degree with 11 years of experience OR High School/Diploma with 14 years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing software solutions in secure government environments.
Skills
- Proficiency with Python.
- API design, versioning, and integration best practices.
- DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Splunk.
Desired Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
- Understanding of forensic and investigative data requirements.
- Experience with:
- Data processing, automation, and ETL workflow orchestration.
- Lucene-based search/indexing platforms: Elasticsearch and Opensearch.
- Data streaming and integration technologies such as Apache Nifi or Cribl.
- Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S).
- Message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Redis.
- Server-side technologies (Apache Tomcat).
- SAFe Agile methodologies.
- Working in classified environments.

Pay
Posted Salary Range: USD $120,700.00 - USD $188,725.00 /Yr. Compensation is based on education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, and contract-specific affordability.
