Software Developer II - Search

About the role

• Leverage AI code generation tools to document, architect, and create code.
• Stay up to date with the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem and help evaluate new tools, models, and frameworks.
• Develop responsive, resilient, scalable, and high-quality software using React, Java, AWS, and various other tools/libraries.
• Balance the trade-offs between complex infrastructure investments and quick, pragmatic solutions to meet specific business needs.
• Collaborate with other engineering and product stakeholders to define, design, and develop projects, taking full ownership for leading projects from start to finish.
• Mentor and guide other junior engineers.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems, including coverage during nights and weekends as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional full stack software development experience, developing full-stack, customer-facing applications.
• Experience using AI code generation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Love for elegant interfaces that can tell stories and inspire trust.
