About the role

The Software Developer Growth Engineer at Blitzy is responsible for generating enterprise demand by showcasing the capabilities of the Blitzy platform through public technical work, content creation, developer engagement, and targeted outreach. This role requires expertise in using the Blitzy platform to demonstrate autonomous software development in real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert operator of the Blitzy platform
  • Execute autonomous software development workflows end-to-end
  • Demonstrate how developers can leverage Blitzy for real-world use cases
  • Serve as a public example of what autonomous software development looks like
  • Build projects in public using Blitzy
  • Build greenfield applications
  • Refactor popular open-source repositories
  • Fix publicly documented CVEs
  • Modernize legacy applications
  • Reverse engineer codebases and generate technical specifications
  • Improve performance and scalability
  • Develop open-source tools and technical benchmarks
  • Conduct large-scale autonomous development initiatives
  • Create technical content
  • Technical articles, tutorials, and engineering write-ups
  • Videos and project breakdowns
  • Benchmark reports
  • Engage with developer communities and answer technical questions
  • Build credibility through technical work
  • Conduct targeted outreach to developers, architects, and engineering leaders
  • Identify technical champions and generate enterprise opportunities
  • Partner with Sales and AI Solutions Consultants to move pipeline forward

Requirements

2+ years of professional software engineering experience

Strong software engineering fundamentals

Experience building and shipping production software

Builder mentality - you default to making things

Strong communicator who can explain complex ideas clearly

Naturally curious and entrepreneurial

Comfortable being public-facing and creating content

Passionate about AI and software development tooling

Enjoys teaching and sharing knowledge with developer communities

Active GitHub profile

Open-source contributions

Technical blog, YouTube channel, or public projects

Hackathon participation or startup experience
