Primary Job Responsibilities And Duties
- Lead development including front end user interface and back-end data infrastructure
- Collaborate with research team to operationalize cognitive and behavioral assessments into digital formats
- Ensure applications are user friendly, accessible, and appropriate for individuals with cognitive and physical impairments
- Develop secure systems for data capture, storage and integration with research databases and/or electronic health records
- Implement scalable and reproducible data pipelines for longitudinal patient reported and clinical data
- Apply best practices in software engineering version control, testing and documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, IRB, and data security standards
- Iterative development through user testing feedback loops and continuous improvement
- Contribute to grant submissions, progress reports, and dissemination of findings
Minimum Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, data science or a related field
- 2-5+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Experience with web and or mobile application development
- Familiarity with databases and data management (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience using version control systems
