Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement new software programs.
- Design and update software databases.
- Work in software applications, websites, data communication processes, and user interfaces.
- Test, maintain, and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
- Independently install, customize, and integrate commercial software packages.
- Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues.
- Resolve complex technical design issues.
- Develop technical specifications and plans.
- Analyze user requirements and convert requirements to design documents.
- Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenges.
- Utilize Java, J2EE, .Net, AJAX, JavaScript, MVC, Web Services, and other technologies.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Job is based in Madison, WI.
- No travel required (domestic or international).
- 40% chance of relocation to unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
