About the role

Contract Type: 4-Month Contract-to-Hire. Location: Phoenix, AZ – Onsite for the first 4 months, then Remote. Candidate Requirement: Local candidates to Phoenix only and only US Citizen or Green Card Holder. We are seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, support, and maintain web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL Server experience along with hands-on experience in ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio, and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications to meet functional and technical designs while following best practices, development standards, and guidelines.
• Support production systems, analyze and resolve production problems in a timely manner, and resolve end-user service requests as assigned.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve application defects and development issues in a timely manner.
• Proactively identify and solve complex technical problems.
• Develop application enhancements and fixes to meet functional and technical requirements.
• Complete unit and system testing of application changes to ensure quality and functionality.
• Prepare technical documentation covering application specifications and development deliverables.
• Create software development lifecycle (SDLC) deliverables, including functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements.
• Contribute to the development and completion of functional specifications.

Requirements

Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience working with SQL Server and SQL. Strong experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Experience designing and developing web applications based on functional and technical designs. Ability to follow software development best practices, standards, and guidelines.
