Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and enhance Salesforce solutions to support changing business requirements and improve overall platform functionality.
- Develop custom features using Apex, Salesforce Flows, Visualforce, Lightning components, triggers, workflows, approval processes, and other Salesforce development tools.
- Maintain the stability and performance of Salesforce applications by monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, supporting production fixes, and participating in on-call support as needed.
- Contribute to release planning, including assessing changes, coordinating development work, preparing deployments, and supporting system upgrades.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems using APIs and standard integration approaches.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate technical options, and translate business needs into effective system designs.
- Support development standards, documentation, testing practices, and quality controls to ensure Salesforce solutions are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with future business needs.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience, including 4 or more years of Salesforce configuration, customization, and application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce technologies, including Apex, triggers, flows, Visualforce, Lightning components, workflows, approval processes, reporting tools, and Force.com development.
- A Salesforce Developer certification and a solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, platform capabilities, and REST API integrations.
- Experience designing and implementing integrations, and familiarity with common integration patterns and best practices.
- Strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
