We are looking for a mid-level full stack developer to join a nonprofit church organization in Texas on a long-term contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building and maintaining web and mobile solutions while supporting a mission-driven environment. The position requires a strong onsite presence three days per week in Humble, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain internal and public-facing web applications, mobile applications, and shared code repositories.
- Build and support solutions using .NET technologies, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and the .NET Framework across multiple platforms.
- Create and maintain integrations with third-party systems such as Planning Center, Pushpay, and J-Verse to ensure reliable data flow and functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from ministry, production, music, and administrative teams to translate operational needs into effective software solutions.
- Contribute substantial hands-on coding across the full stack, including feature delivery, troubleshooting, and ongoing application improvements.
- Partner with internal IT staff and external technology advisors to address technical priorities, including security-related improvements and future initiatives.
- Participate in code management and version control practices within GitHub to support maintainability and team collaboration.
- Provide consistent onsite support Tuesday through Thursday while helping sustain business-critical applications and digital services.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented experience as a mid-level Software Developer or Full Stack Developer in a hands-on coding environment.
- Strong technical proficiency with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and the .NET Framework.
- Demonstrated experience supporting web applications, mobile applications, and integrated software environments.
- Familiarity with API or platform integrations involving systems such as Planning Center, Pushpay, J-Verse, or similar third-party tools.
- Ability to work onsite regularly in Humble, Texas, with availability for an in-office schedule Tuesday through Thursday.
- Experience using GitHub or similar version control platforms in a collaborative development setting.
- Comfortable working in a mission-driven organization and able to align with the culture and values of the organization.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
