About the role
The Software Developer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications across the entire technology stack. This includes both front-end and back-end components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Create production-ready code to solve business problems.
- Develop and thoroughly test code to ensure its quality and reliability.
- Document technical aspects of the work for clarity and future reference.
- Collaborate with the technology team, third parties, and subject matter experts to enhance project outcomes.
- Identify areas for improvement and maintain/upgrade existing code.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies as needed to support ongoing projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of coding standards and practices.
- Work on diverse projects and gain exposure to cloud platforms.
- Grow into advanced development responsibilities within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of prior work experience as a software developer.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without limitation.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle (design, implementation, testing, deployment).
- Experience working on complex business system integrations.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with core web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.).
- Experience with relational databases and relational data models.
- Ability to work fully in-office.
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
- Financial Services industry and Agile development experience preferred.
- Direct experience working on a SaaS platform for middle market and enterprise size companies; e.g., ServiceNow.
- Experience with a Configuration Management Database and the Common Service Data Model.
- Experience with REST integrations.
- Experience scripting with JavaScript and AngularJS.
- Knowledge in Agile development using Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
