Software Developer

About the role

Jenzabar is seeking a Software Developer to join our team. This role involves writing, modifying, and debugging software for client applications, working closely with the Product Development team, and reporting to management.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering level tests to find defects, troubleshoot, test, and validate software issues; resolve issues with due urgency and maintain thorough documentation of all software solutions.
• Aid in research and development as well.

Requirements

• Work closely and effectively with your team, management, and designers to build world-class software applications.
• Translate design specifications to web or client applications that work well across multiple devices.
• Contribute to design and architecture of our platform to meet business requirements.
• Stay current on the latest web tools, client-side technologies, standards, and practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in development of multi-tier applications and web applications using .Net framework-based OO technologies and techniques.
• Programming experience utilizing C# and ASP.Net is preferred.
• Experience developing cross-browser web applications using HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of RWD techniques and "mobile first" concepts.
• Experience with Twitter Bootstrap CSS Framework.
• Experience with Agile/iterative development processes and higher education experience are pluses.

Skills

• Write C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PowerBuilder, or other programming languages.

Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $65,000-$80,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience.
• This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits.
