About the role
This position is based in the Jedson, OH office with a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and support business applications and reporting solutions.
- Develop and maintain web-based user interfaces using JavaScript and related technologies.
- Assist with application development and enhancements across front-end, back-end, and database components.
- Develop and modify SQL queries, reports, stored procedures, and data views.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system improvements.
- Develop and support integrations between internal applications and third-party systems using APIs and data services.
- Troubleshoot application, database, data quality, and integration issues.
- Provide user support and training related to application functionality and business processes.
- Participate in testing, deployments, documentation, and change management activities.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational workflows.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience developing, supporting, or maintaining software applications, or equivalent education and experience.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and support complex business applications and processes.
- Ability to work directly with business users to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using source control systems or willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web application development using JavaScript frameworks or UI libraries such as Webix, Sencha.
- Experience with PHP or other server-side development technologies.
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and database development.
- Familiarity with IIS.
- Exposure to .NET development and related technologies.
- Exposure to Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint.
- Experience working in a services Engineering firm.
