Software Developer
About the role
This role gives you the chance to work on serious engineering problems with a unique edge. Your primary focus will be building robust systems with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and modern DevOps automation, but the team also operates in the offensive cyber space.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain large-scale, distributed web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python
- Architect scalable microservices and backend systems that support high-performance data processing and communication
- Use DevOps automation and Infrastructure as Code to deploy and manage services in commercial cloud environments
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to support secure, reliable software delivery
- Collaborate with security researchers to apply engineering best practices to offensive cyber and vulnerability research efforts
- Work directly with users and analysts to improve tooling and mission capabilities
- Help shape software architecture in environments that demand scalability, resilience, and operational reliability
Requirements
Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a non-technical field.
Qualifications
Professional software development experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python
Skills
- Knowledge of building and maintaining enterprise-grade, distributed web applications and system architectures
- Experience with DevOps automation, cloud service providers such as AWS, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
- Knowledge of modern software engineering principles including version control, testing frameworks, and Agile workflows
- Experience with high-side development environments and non-attributed network configurations
Benefits
Compensation Range: $142,000.00 - $182,000.00
The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
