Software Developer
About the Role
Generally responsible for providing support for software and report development coding efforts, including troubleshooting and modifications to previously written code. This position also provides Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system support, including end user issue assistance, troubleshooting, and application testing.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of in-house programs that improve processes and procedures.
- Implement and maintain databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize processes.
- Create and update ad-hoc reports and dashboards as needed.
- Research best practice solutions for business processes.
- Support the ERP help desk by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving end user support issues.
- Assist department projects related to ERP system enhancements.
- Complete special projects in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Computer Science degree from an accredited university is preferred.
- Computer programming experience or relevant coursework highly preferred.
- Knowledge of software development and integration.
- General understanding of accounting principles and standards.
- Innovative drive to ensure continued growth and success.
- Extreme attention to detail and sound, ethical business judgment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge in development software such as C#, Java, ASP.net, and SQL Database Development is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking demands.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with teammates.
- Discretion in dealing with sensitive information.
- Strong listening skills to ascertain the needs of management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize daily tasks.
- Experience in a project, construction, or engineering environment is preferred but not required.

- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to hold or lift up to 15 lbs unassisted.
