Application Developers

Application Developers create and maintain the technical solutions to a range of challenging business problems. They are expected to leverage an understanding of application development theory, concepts and best practices to provide the most ideal solution to the challenges presented. Applications are developed collaboratively; with most teams simultaneously supporting several applications.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.
• Front-end development experience with modern frameworks: Typescript (Angular, React, or similar), CSS (Bootstrap, FontAwesome, or similar), JavaScript (AngularJS, jQuery, or similar)
• Back-end development experience with technologies and frameworks such as: Java, Python, .Net, MVC Frameworks (Spring Boot, .NET Core, Flask or similar), ORM's (JPA, EFCore or similar), Testing Frameworks (JUnit, Pytest, XUnit or similar)
• We Prefer:
• Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate oral/written communication skills
• Experience w/ relational database management systems such as Oracle, MariaDB (MySQL), and/or SQL Server
• Agile software development and CI/CD experience
• Working knowledge of Object Oriented design patterns, cloud-native architecture and database automation (eg Liquibase, EF Core Management or similar)
