SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Senior Software Developer - JAVA

• Expert Java (1.5) knowledge.
• Java standalone servers, concurrency and threading.
• Java REST/SOAP Services.
• Spring framework experience is a MUST.
• Big Data (HBase, Hadoop) and analytic work experience is a plus.
• Experience building Complex Event Processing application (Drools Expert and Fusion or ILOG JRules) is a plus.
• Distributed messaging experience (Apache Kafka, RabitMQ).
• Must have been involved in an architecture related role on well-designed systems.
• Experience working with scalable low latency system architectures is a plus.
• Must be able to quickly pick up new technologies and incorporate them into production software.
• Experience in debugging and performance troubleshooting in large Java based system.
• Experience in all phases of software development life cycle methodologies and processes.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering from a 4-year college or university.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Software Developer

• Relational database experience. We are currently using MySQL.
• Experience with Java or PHP development.
• Mobile (web or native app) experience is a huge plus.
• Prior experience working in a startup environment is a strong plus.
• In addition, the following requirements are a must:
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering from a 4-year college or university.
• 2-5 years of professional experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

UL Designer

• 3+ years experience in design and technical implementation of customer- facing web sites.
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and solid visual & interaction design skills.
• Experience creating web and mobile optimized assets.
• Experience with SVN or other source control systems.
• Plus Qualifications:
• Experience with SEO techniques.
• Experience designing mobile website and native iPhone/Android apps.
• jQuery Experience.
• HTML5 and CSS3.
• Bachelors’ degree in a technical/visual design/HCI discipline or equivalent.
