About the role
We are seeking a highly versatile developer to support a diverse portfolio of technical responsibilities spanning application/API development, database development, DevOps, and business analysis. This hybrid, multi-hat role is suited to someone who is not only technically deep in specific areas but also demonstrably effective at using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate and improve the quality of solution development across the stack.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain applications and integrations, with a focus on proven development experience.
- Develop resilient backend services and clean, secure, well-documented APIs.
- Handle database development, including solid SQL coding skills and a good working knowledge of best practices (schema design, indexing, query optimization, normalization).
- Support application monitoring and deployment, managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, low-risk releases.
- Gather and translate business requirements, liaising between technical and business stakeholders to support prioritization.
- Demonstrate hands-on proficiency using AI-assisted development tools to design, build, debug, and optimize solutions across all areas.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional experience across most or all of the skill areas: application/API development, database development, DevOps, and business analysis.
- Proven, demonstrable proficiency in AI-assisted software development—candidates must provide specific examples (code samples, case studies, or a portfolio) of using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to design, build, debug, or optimize solutions.
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for business analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft/Azure or AWS DevOps certifications).
- Experience mentoring or supporting less senior developers on lower-proficiency tasks (e.g., application monitoring).
