Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy high-quality software applications to meet the school's operational and educational needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrative staff, and leadership to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing school software, including the Student Information System, websites, and internal portals.
• Manage databases, ensuring data security, integrity, and accessibility.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot software issues for staff and faculty.
• Develop clear and comprehensive technical documentation for all software projects.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose solutions that could benefit the school's mission.
• Ensure all software solutions are secure and comply with data protection regulations.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven professional experience in a software development role.
• Strong proficiency in front-end and back-end development languages and frameworks.
• Solid experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• A self-motivated and organized individual capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
