Software Developer

About the role

This role is more than just coding. As a junior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment.
• Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready.
• Create solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
• Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications using agile methods.
• Ensure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with software engineering in a Linux environment.
• Experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks using Java and JavaScript.
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
• Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Skills

• Experience in Java libraries to include MongoDB, Spring and OSGi, and in Perl, Python, Lua, and NGINX.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
