About the role

This role is more than just coding. As a senior full stack developer, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

• Develop software and systems from vision to production ready
• Apply critical and analytic thinking to improve and troubleshoot code
• Ensure solutions consider current architecture, operating environment, and future enhancements

Requirements

• Experience with programming in Python and C
• Experience in Java
• Experience developing APIs
• Knowledge of software test methodologies
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods, or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree

Skills

• Applying cloud computing in AWS to develop and deploy software
• Database design, SQL, Postgres, or relational database
• Web standards, protocols, frameworks, and full-stack development
• Deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines
• AWS Certifications

Pay

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work model expectations:

• Remote: Generally virtual, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential customer facility visits as needed.
• Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.

For virtual work, cameras are generally expected to be on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
