Software Dev Engineer II, Selection Monitoring - Catalog Enrichment

About the role

In the Amazon Selection Monitoring team, we aim to ensure Amazon has a complete understanding of all products worldwide. We aggregate and identify products along with their accurate details. Our mission is to enrich and expand the scope of Amazon’s product selection, guided by consumer interests. We are building a platform to support data science and analytics capabilities such as web-scale data integration, entity and product matching, enhancing data quality, natural language processing, discovering new relationships, and semantic knowledge inference.

Responsibilities

• Design and build necessary platforms and solutions for data science and analytics, including web-scale data integration, entity and product matching, improving data quality, natural language processing, discovery of new relationships, and semantic knowledge inference.
• Collaborate with data and applied scientists to develop state-of-the-art solutions for automatic aggregation and production of high-quality data and knowledge.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams within Amazon to create value for customers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 annually.
