Software Dev Engineer II, Alexa Shopping

About the role

The Alexa Shopping group is seeking a talented engineer to help build and drive the evolution of Routing Technology across Alexa's shopping ecosystem. You'll work on the horizontal technology that orchestrates how requests route to specialized shopping verticals, enabling seamless experiences from product discovery to post-purchase on Alexa.

Responsibilities

• Build the next generation of AI-driven routing technology
• Build and operate highly scalable services to power delightful shopping experiences across various Alexa-powered devices
• Work closely with multiple partner teams across Alexa to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Qualifications

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Experience with machine learning and natural language processing
