Software Design Engineer

About the role

As a Software Design Engineer, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting innovative web-based applications and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex software solutions to meet business needs
• Gather and analyze system requirements, documenting specifications for development
• Perform troubleshooting, testing, and support for production systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and improve software applications
• Create detailed test plans and migration packages for system testing and deployment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
• 8–10 years of experience in software engineering and large-scale systems development
• Strong expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting legacy and modern production systems
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Redmond, WA

Pay

$72–$78 per hour on Experis W2
