Software Consultant
HOOPS is seeking a dedicated candidate with accounting and software knowledge to join our team of consultants in Eau Claire, WI. The Software Consultant will serve as an accounting and business software analyst for our customers, collaborating on business process improvements and performing routine software upgrades or maintenance.
About the role
The ideal candidate thrives in a small business setting and is eager to help customers move their business forward. You will travel in and around Eau Claire, working with businesses both in-person and remotely. While regular office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., occasional remote or after-hours work may be necessary to accommodate customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate accounting and business software
- Handle upgrades and maintenance of customer software
- Collaborate on the improvement of business processes
- Go the extra mile to engage customers and resolve issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Knowledge of accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics GP and Acumatica preferred
- Proven customer support experience
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
