Responsibilities
- Maintain software and hardware configuration control and perform configuration management for software.
- Perform configuration/version control and tracking of software and code during development, testing, and operational service, and documenting and tracking software versions.
- Maintain accurate records of the current configuration baselines of the various systems, interfaces, subsystems, equipment, and software under development, enhancement, testing, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a quality control plan that assures software is developed to remain useful and available to other software developers.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a process for maintaining configuration management for on- and off-site software development and data storage.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience directly related to software development of autonomous systems.
- 1 year of experience working with software development teams in an Agile environment.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering, Math, Physical Sciences, and/or Computer Science field.

About the Role
- ICI Services is a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Services, and Technical Services to government clients in 14 states and the District of Columbia.
- We are seeking a Software Configuration Manager to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.
- The ideal candidate will have a SECRET clearance and 5+ years of experience in software development of autonomous systems, with 1 year of experience in Agile environments.
Qualifications
- Experience with software development of autonomous systems.
- Experience working with software development teams in an Agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering, Math, Physical Sciences, and/or Computer Science field.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of software development processes and practices.
- Experience with configuration management tools and techniques.
- Ability to develop and implement quality control plans.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
