Software Configuration Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain software and hardware configuration control and perform configuration management for software.
• Perform configuration/version control and tracking of software and code during development, testing, and operational service, and documenting and tracking software versions.
• Maintain accurate records of the current configuration baselines of the various systems, interfaces, subsystems, equipment, and software under development, enhancement, testing, and evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a quality control plan that assures software is developed to remain useful and available to other software developers.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a process for maintaining configuration management for on- and off-site software development and data storage.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience directly related to software development of autonomous systems.
• 1 year of experience working with software development teams in an Agile environment.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering, Math, Physical Sciences, and/or Computer Science field.

About the Role

• ICI Services is a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Services, and Technical Services to government clients in 14 states and the District of Columbia.
• We are seeking a Software Configuration Manager to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.
• The ideal candidate will have a SECRET clearance and 5+ years of experience in software development of autonomous systems, with 1 year of experience in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with software development of autonomous systems.
• Experience working with software development teams in an Agile environment.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering, Math, Physical Sciences, and/or Computer Science field.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of software development processes and practices.
• Experience with configuration management tools and techniques.
• Ability to develop and implement quality control plans.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
