Software CI/CD Engineer (On-Site)

About the role

The Software CI/CD Engineer will be responsible for working to implement and maintain a standardized CI/CD pipeline for use by all of the Product Teams across two development sites. The applicant will be required to work closely with the Cyber and Platforms ART to ensure that the tools and applications within the pipeline and maintained and conform to security and other requirements. The applicant will need to present regular updates on the status of the pipeline and work to resolve any issues.

Responsibilities

• Work to implement and maintain a standardized CI/CD pipeline for use by all of the Product Teams across two development sites
• Work closely with the Cyber and Platforms ART to ensure that the tools and applications within the pipeline and maintained and conform to security and other requirements
• Present regular updates on the status of the pipeline and work to resolve any issues

Requirements

• Linux system administration, System Security Implementations Experience
• Experience with all or some of Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira and Confluence
• Experience with CI/CD especially in a classified development environment
• Experience working with DevSecOps
• Experience with Linux shell scripting, Ansible playbook development and management, Security-Enhanced (SE) Linux and Red Hat repository administration
• Experience working in a Agile development environment

Desired skills

• Knowledge of all or some of the following: Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Multi-Factor Authentication implementation like IPA and ADFS, OpenShift, OpenStack, VMware ESXI, QAS/VAS, Windows, Active Directory, Backup and Recovery, Containers and Container Orchestration products
• Understanding the concept of PaaS and SaaS
• Experience working within classified environments to implement CI/CD pipelines to support multiple software releases and build versions

Skills Required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science) or significant professional experience
• Masters degree highly desired
